Snap Chat, ā€˜Hire me now’ campaign

Art direction

Working together with art director Melissa Lancastor the Hire me now campaign was developed as part of a Creative Council pitch brief, challenging us to reimagine how Gen Z could connect with employment through the platforms they already live and communicate on.

Responding to a post-pandemic landscape where many young people felt disconnected from their futures, the campaign set out to empower digital natives by turning Snapchat into a space for opportunity, self-expression, and discovery.

Our concept positioned Snapchat as a credible career tool, introducing a series of AR lenses that allowed users to showcase their skills, interact with real job listings, and apply directly within the app.

Lenses like Hear Me Now, See Me Now, and The Revelator merged play with purpose, inviting users to declare their talents, complete skill-based quizzes, and unlock live job opportunities from partners such as Netflix, Amazon, and ASOS.

The innovation lay in transforming AR storytelling into an interactive recruitment journey, bridging the gap between creativity and employability.

Hear Me Now celebrated Gen Z’s digital fluency as a professional strength and reframed Snapchat as a platform not just for communication, but for career empowerment and connection.
